Yoga and Sound
Come and deepen your practice of asanas done in the silent garden of sound.

Today most people take music to be a form of entertainment and truthfully music is entertaining.  But, ancient humans used music for a different purpose.  The purpose was to communicate, heal and enlighten oneself and the community and surroundings.  Naadha yoga is known as the yogic science of sound, but its main focus is to guide one deeper into the music of silence.  Much of this form of yoga can include chanting, and music, but the important part is the deep meditation.

Seva and Rajamani combine Hatha yoga with Naadha yoga to bring you an ancient and unique experience of yoga practice.  You will learn how to integrate rhythm, melody and silence into a regular hatha yoga practice, more about traditional Indian music and how one can understand and enjoy it deeply, and how music in general effetcs us spiritually, mentally and physically.

Please bring earplugs with you to class to help in listening to the sound of silence.
