Beyond Asana

Curious about breathing or meditation techniques? Keep hearing terms like tamas, rajas and sattva, and want to learn more? Interested in learning postures appropriate to deal with anxiety or fatigue? Looking to develop a personal practice but don't know where to begin?

Part workshop, part eclectic information session, this class allows students to explore aspects of yoga beyond asana. Each class is different. Some days breath is the focus, others meditation. We may work to fine tune your favorite asanas or learn modifications appropriate for your body. We may discuss some of the yoga sutras or work with the chakras. All classes will include a brief, gentle practice incorporating the focus of that day's class.

Come with your burning yoga questions and we'll expore them together in a safe and relaxed environment. Or simply come prepared to learn something new.
